Well Brenda, I'm not sure what you would do for Chrome on Windows 7, this blog is directed at users of Ubuntu linux . My suggestion would be to do a <a href="http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&client=ubuntu&channel=cs&ie=UTF-8&q=how+to+display+the+title+bar+in+Google+Chrome+windows+7" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">google search for the solution for your specific operating system</a>. Hope that helps.

Hi
I've tried to do as you suggest above, but I don't have the two radio button selections under Appearance. My choices are only to Get Themes or restore default themes. I am using Chrome 5.0.375.127 and Windows 7. Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks

Actually, I still have my volume indicator after doing this. I can't speak to the battery indicator, as I haven't tried this on a notebook. I've done this to two of my machines, both running 10.04, one 64 bit, and one 32, and on both I still have my volume indicator.

This is something that should be addressed in future releases. A graphical way to configure what shows up in the indicator area. If I don't want the mail icon, I should be able to easily get rid of it without having to ditch volume and battery (on notebooks) as well.

Yes but it takes the volume and battery indicators with it! Why do people keep posting this silly solution?

Well, cleaning your cache is great and all, but that won't give you a CD or DVD with, not just a list of, but the actual files you need to re-install your current packages. This is invaluable if you have a slow internet connection, or none at all available to the machine in question.

Dselect is also very useful.

Kind of useless if you run a tight ship. Meaning, if you clean your apt/aptitude cache there's nothing this program will do for you.

Dselect is better.

@ Bruno - Here is a <a href="http://ubublogger.wordpress.com/2010/02/02/how-to-install-the-experimental-version-of-libnotify-mozilla/" rel="nofollow">little project</a> that may do just what you're asking about. I'm not a Thunderbird user myself, and have not tried this, but I hope it helps!
